“Oriental Memory” – A Journey Through War and Love
For over a decade, my art has explored the complex human experiences in the Middle East, a region marked by conflict and love. From 2013 to 2023, I have dedicated myself to teaching, researching, and creating works that reflect the resilience of its people.
“Oriental Memory,” my 2021 art book, is a visual testament to this journey. Through my art, I capture the essence of Egypt, the Emirates, Oman, and Yemen, highlighting the strength of cultures that endure despite war. My paintings feature faces etched with stories of resilience and hope, embodying the spirit of the Middle East.
Amidst the harsh realities of conflict, my work is a testament to the enduring power of love. Love for family, tradition, and the land is a thread that runs through my art, reminding us of the warmth and hope that persist even in the darkest times.
My art is a bridge that fosters empathy and understanding. I am committed to shedding light on the often-overlooked narratives of the Middle East. Join me on this journey through a region where the human spirit thrives amidst war and love, and let’s together appreciate the beauty that emerges from adversity.
